This piece is named Negotiated Peace (Formerly Echo & Narcissus). It started out as just a cabinet and mirror, and then I got frustrated and made some slight modifications...with arrows.

Mitering Stock for The New Brick-laid Apron

As mentioned previously, the new apron will be made up of 3 layers of "octagons" with the middle layer rotated 45 degrees relative to the top and bottom layers. Here is some of that stock being mitered on the table saw. It's really nice quartersawn white cedar.

Revisiting the Table Aprons

I'm redesigning (and remaking) the table aprons. I wasn't satisfied with the bent laminated aprons or the joinery options for the apron-to-leg joints. Back to the drawing board.
