Before casting my coat hooks in bronze, I'm casting them in plastic. Here's 1/2 of the 2-part mold. I suspended the coat hook inside the MDF form with 1/8" brass rod. The voids left by the rods will allow for filling and venting.

When Ben & Jeff were visiting last week for Fine Woodworking magazine, the conversation turned, as it always does, to foam guns. Ben and I had different experiences with the big box foam guns and I forgot to share with him how mine was decommissioned.
