I'm working some Alaskan Yellow Cedar today. Really amazingly fine grain, and perfectly straight. The smell is a bit much, though.

Lumber Racks Are Finished

Load Carrying Capacity
The lumber racks are done and holding weight. There's an identical rack on the back side of the block wall, so the load on the wall is fairly close to balanced. The 2x verticals are fastened to the wall with 1/2" threaded rod that passes thru the block wall.
