I've also been working on the molding that makes the transition from base to case. The molding itself was made a while ago, but I've prefinished it and need to cut & install it. Why prefinished? Because I didn't want to have to use dye anywhere near the already finished maple case. I'll have to touch things up after filling nail holes, but it's still safer than trying to dye and finish the molding in place. Here's a little miter sled I made for the table saw, which worked really well using a fairly new Tenryu Gold Metal blade.
